Edinburgh Fringe Live: Bad Habits are Alright Now
Here we have been working together to learn through doing, and as a group finding ways to put local acts on stage, filming them and audio recording them. It has been a lot of fun and although it has been hard working around all the constraints which come with putting live music on in a residential area of Edinburgh, we have managed to stage a number of great acts.
Yesterday we saw the beer Garden full of people enjoying the sunshine and some good music, which after the last rain event, was a delight for sore ears. We had two of the acts turn up and entertain us and we had an act from a previous rained off day turn up, Ruari McMillan, who filled in for one of the bands that didn’t show up with his Lou Read style singing. He’s young and learning and we’re glad that we can give Ruarie a chance to gain more experience.
Next we had a good set from Bad Habit who are a sound bunch and they rocked the Beer Garden with their AC/DC and rock covers. The crowd loved them and they didn’t disappoint with everyone singing along and getting into the vibe.
And I managed to get some photos and more on the way
Stolen From a Crow were next and when I read the bio I knew that we were in for something off the wall and they didn’t disappoint.
We’ll have more clips from the day soon so stay in touch
