Contributor: Amber Phillips
Amber Phillips is a PhD student and blogger on Italian organised crime, and has been living in Manchester since 2015. Having moved far away from her home institution of Bristol University, she wanted to find ways of engaging with the community in her new city, and was immediately drawn to the Ragged University project’s energy and enthusiasm.
After giving a successful first talk (about her research on the mafia), Amber joined the Manchester team, and is excited to be on board for the excellent line-up of events for 2016.
