Manchester

This is a map of places in Manchester which are free to visit and are places we learn and interact. We learn in many places outside of formal institutions, the thoughts we have sat in gardens or walks along canals, museums which lay out rare and special collections, libraries of books more numerous than we alone can read.
Then there are the open groups you can attend, societies which put on free lectures and numerous Meetups which you can attend without cost. In part inspired by the Children’s University, a way of looking at all the places around us as sites of learning where we can go in our own time, and take our own space to choose what to learn.
Click the red markers to locate the projects on the map. Click the More Details link to be taken to the individual project websites.
